Day 2: I am grateful for my children. I am very proud of my son and how he takes care of his family. He has done a wonderful job at raising my grandson Parker. I am proud of my daughter in law also. She has helped more people in her community than most people will ever think of doing. She started her cake decorating when she lost our precious granddaughter Shelby Rae. She has used the money she makes from her cake to give to charities. I tried to raise my son to never let any one tell him he couldnt do what he wanted to do. By that I mean to better himself. He learned to fly an airplane at the age of 18. He decided not to persue a career in flying, instead he put his family first. He is now a fireman and nominated a co worker to be a Hometown Hero and won in a national competition. They are Godly children and make sure Parker knows Jesus. My son will witness to any one he thinks is about to die. Nikole has a masters degree in accounting. And has a heart of gold. 2. I am grateful for my Broom Rider Sistas! They know who they are. We share our joys and our pain with each other. They are my true family. I would go to the ends of the earth for them and I hope they know just how much I love them. I just wish I could see more of them. My Broom Rider 2 buddy and Judy Poo! 3. I miss things I did as a child. Tree climbing, running bare foot, catching ligthning bugs and frogs. Playing outside after dark and Christmas mornings after Santa Claus came. I miss the Easter Bunny and trick or treating. I am grateful to have passed some of the traditions on to my child. I am grateful for my brother that is no longer with us. I wish he was here to listen to my heart and tell him I love him. I cant say I had a happy childhood. I am grateful that I learned the world is not always nice and how to watch out for myself when people try to do me wrong.
