Day 2 I am thankful for living in the town of Clinton where most of our buildings were donated to us by those that loved our town many years ago. town hall, the fire house, the old police station all because people like Sturge Redfield wanted generations to come to have an example of giving back. I am thankful for years of memories of teaching swimming lessons at the town beach, bike hikes and picnics all over town, Thanksgiving dinners at our beloved Clinton Manor Inn (where Job Lot is located now),and meeting the actors who stayed there. I am thankful that Dr. Joel had faith in a 21 year old recent graduate...he hired me to teach fourth grade at Glenwood School..I never left 40 years teaching 4th,2nd,3rd, and Special Ed. hard to believe more than a thousand students. Many are now carrying the torch as educators. so very proud.
