Day 22- im thankful for my father in law Hank Oetting.. They dont make em like him anymore .. You will never know a kinder man. Hes one of the few people left that still believes that all men are good and sees only that.Hes a God fearing old Lutheran farmer who takes care of his family and looks after his neighbors. You can find my father in law any day heat and all in the summer mowing the medians and side ditches ,our church and cemetary .. Picking up trash and liter along Minnich road that some worthless person tossed out.. Hes the one that fixes all the ruts that are often left because some drunk or bad driver decided to leave by ignoring the weather conditions or even their own condition ..I hold much respect for this man because he not only does it but he does it with a smile with no complaint. When i say they dont make men like him anymore they really dont ..one day i know he wont be around to do all that he does so today i pay tribute .. Remember that when u pull onto hwy 27 from minnich rd and u can see traffic because he mowed where the state and county dont .. Or when u dont slide on ice thru the median because he salted before the state could get to it and salted places they dont . Also keep in mind if your one of those who makes it a habit thowing your trash out on Minnich Rd .. One day ill be continuing the job my father in law started and im not so nice because if i see u throw out ur trash .. I will hunt ur ass down and publicly humiliate u with my big loud mean mouth .. Like i said .. They just dont make em like him anymore lol
