Day 22 of treatment. More chemo today, but Sara handled it like a champ. We had a new to us nurse named Sky. She was great with Sara and acted a little surprised when I told her Sara didnt need anyone to hold her down while they accessed her chemo port. I feel sorry for her future husband cause he will have to deal with having a wife tougher than he is! We head back next week for chemo in the spinal fluid and a bone marrow draw to determine how many of the leukemia cells are gone. We are praying for less than 5% leukemia cells in her blood. Then we can move into the next phase with a less intense course of treatment. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday that my sweet girl is alive and has a good prognosis. I also am so grateful for each of you, your prayers, and the strength you give us.
