Day 23: Makes me said to think that the month is rushing by so quickly. Today I am thankful for the faith that God has instilled in me. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont find something to be thankful for and then turn around and actually thank him for it. Then theres the Bible, a book everyone should have readily available for those times when theres nothing better to do than just sit down and read his comforting words. If you think youve got it bad you just need to leaf through the pages of his words and see how good you actually have it. At a funeral this week the pastor brought up what the letters for the Bible really stand for in his eyes. Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Some very powerful words if you ask me. If there is one book that you should find time to sit and read through it should be this one after all I think we all need a few instructions to prepare us for what beauty lies ahead of us. So if you will only find the time give some of those instructions to your children or grandchildren whenever you can. It sure cant hurt as far as Im concerned. So today I am thankful for my faith and trust in God who guides me daily. Weve been through some pretty bad storms but hes there to shelter me from the things that have only made me stronger.
