Day 29 Sub-Saharan Africans Soninke, Susu, Malinke, Dioula Father, we want to thank You for the Alliance churches in Africa who are continually equipping pastors to shepherd the growing congregations in Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Gabon, and Burkina Faso. Thank You, Father for the 1st contact made in 1929 with the Baole tribe, and then 75 years later, the money raised by the Alliance church to send their first international missionaries to Cote d’Ivoire. Thank You, LORD, for each one who gave into this mission. Father, we lift up the nations, and we thank You, LORD, for the believers among the Soninke. We thank You for FATEAC’s vision to reach West Africa. We lift up the Susu believers as they go back to their home villages to share the gospel. We stand with the Susu Church as they reach out to the Susus in their own language, and we pray that those who received Bible portions will be touched by God’s Word as they read it in their heart language. Father, we lift up the few followers of Jesus Christ among the Malinke. LORD of the Harvest, thank You for sowers, waterers, weeders and harvesters in the field of the Malinke, in Jesus’ Name. We stand with these believers as they rise up…encouraged…and reach out. Let their light so shine that their own people see their good works and Glorify our God in Heaven! We thank You LORD, for the New Tribes Missions, the International Mission Board, and the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church and their work among the Malinke. Father God, guide medical missionaries to go to this people to heal the sick and wounded. We thank You Father, for faithful workers who will start schools and orphanages. We praise You LORD, for Your divine protection of Your mission work among the Malinke peoples, as we Your Church abide in the secret place of the Most High! We pray for the Dioula, and we ask LORD, for them to be reached by all the European Believers that they encounter. We thank You LORD, for Your love for them, and for You pouring out Your Spirit in such a way that these people who are known for their dancing and drums will dance and play their drums for the King of kings and LORD of lords! Father, we thank You for all accomplished by You and for You, in Your Name, and for Your sake! “Lord, You are our God; we will exalt You. We will praise Your name, for You have accomplished wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.” Isaiah 25:1
