Day #3 Dear Lord, thanks for listening and shutting off the tap. It would have been nice if you had listened yesterday but we will take what we can get! It was a great day filled with wonderful music from Rich and the Poor Boys and RIck Taylor. Our fans loved their tunes. Wonderful wings, wonderful food in general, wonderful drinks, wonderful vendors and wonderful new friends. Rombys (St .Catharines on Lake St.) emerged as the big winners in the Most Creative Sauce competition for their scrumptuous Wolverine wings, emerged victorious in the Hot wing contest and soared to new heights as our Fan Favourite champion! Heck, owner Mike Wilson even won the XXX Hot Wings Speed Eating Competition!! Congratulations Rombys. Although the hardward went to Rombys, many, many peoples hearts went to every one of our great Wingers. Beamsville Relay Family Restaurant, Beamsville Neighbourhood Pizza Company, Iggys Pub and Grub (Fonthill), Montanas Cookhouse (St. Catharines). Thanks to all who made the festival successful. We have the most awesome volunteers on the planet! Thanks to our Eco defenders, we can state that for our entire 3 day festival, we generated under two bags of garbage that could not be recycled. Everything else will have new life in another recycled form. Congratulations to Jane Gadsby and her Eco Defenders. We wold be remiss if we did not identify Bob Bujas and Steven Smalley (this years producers) for a lions share of the credit for the success oour Rotary Event.
