Day 3 of soccer tryouts... its hot... disgusting to even wait for him under the shady spots... no idea what/how the deliberations are done but for what I have seen, I am extremely proud of Connor, beautiful 4 shots today, all in and of course I can see he is trying his hardest... funny thing, since he was 4 (lol) we have taught him to always thank his coach and to say good bye properly... after the first day, exhausted, pouring sweat, I saw him walking towards the soccer coach, shook his hand after thanking him... my reaction? Freaked out, walked towards Corey and said in my most panicky voice oh my god he thanked the coach.... soccer didnt matter at that moment... I was just the proudest mom ever... after 9 years of repetition (hahhahhahhaha) he looked like the young man I always dreamt he would be.... but back to reality and having a 12 year old boy, the personal narrative he is writing about for his Language and Arts class is about zombies and Welcome to Zombie Ville... love him (lol)
