Day 4 – The Side Kick You Wish You Had: Ok so this question is a little vague so I’m going to answer in the three ways you can answer the question! So if I could have any side-kick from any of the ‘Disney Princesses’ I’d got with Alice’s Cheshire Cat! I know, I know ‘Technically’ Alice doesn’t have the ‘tile’ of Princess, except in Kingdom Hearts I might point out. Also I might point out that Mulan is considered a Princess but even if she marries Shang she won’t have the Princess title, she’s just a general’s wife. So this is the answer if we are considering ALL the Disney girls Princess. So The Cheshire Cat, I love him! He’s just the right amount of crazy for me! I love his cryptic speak and the fact that he actually IS trying to help Alice; it’s not his fault that she’s not asking the right questions! Reminds me of ‘The Labyrinth’ in that way, if she asked the right questions then Ches would have been much more helpful! I also love the different incarnations of Ches; the live action blue Ches is so cute and wonderful and I love his hat obsession! And the American McGee Alice version is just so darkly wonderful! I know that he might get on my nerves after a while, but I figure when he starts to grate my nerve he would just disappear and head off to do what cats do! I actually have a little one that I’m pretty sure IS a Cheshire Cat at home so I tally know what they do! ;-) Now if the question means a side-kick from one of the technical 10 Disney Princess’ then as random as it is, I would so go with Maximus from Tangled. Look at that horse, that horse is amazing! He’s so the straight man of the movie, he’s loyal and brave and strong…and if you’re a girl you can manipulate him! Plus I love his sword fight with Flynn! Finally if the question is asking which of the Disney Princesses I’d want as my side-kick I’d go with Snow White. It’s out of left field because normal I…well I have no feelings on Snow White either way, but she feels more like she could be side-kick material. She can cook, she can clean and she has that awesome ability to control animals. Also if you look at the Once Upon a Time version of Snow White, she could totally help me survive in the forest for months and months on end!
