Day 40 - Still no word from halifax on a bed. I dont expect word until wedbesday. Met with the bone marrow transplant coordinator nurse today to discuss the dos and donts upon discharge. The restrictions are much more manageable than we were originally led to believe to we feel much better about that stuff, she answered all our questions and it sparked some excitement in us talking about when we go home. We have decided to stay in Halifax one week after antibiotics are stopped strictly for an observation week so hoping to get home the week before Christmas :):):) Halifax doesnt feel that way but hopefully their minds will change when they see him and we wont have to take him out without their consent but even if we do the Montreal docs feel quite comfortable with us doing so. Rylans neutrophiles are steadily rising on their own again since mono treatment. The doctor says rylans lymph counts are maturing faster than they usually do at this point in transplant which is great news!! The final result is not back yet but the doc feels they have reached a very good dosage for his anti rejection med. Everything is going very good :)
