Day 5- Once again, BLESSED..... Today, I had the pleasure of helping assist 30 children shop for New Clothes, at Assistance League of Everetts, SCHOOL BELL program. The pure excitement, smiles and appreciation, that these children express, for the opportunity to have NEW clothing (for some, its the first NEW clothes they have ever had, to call their own) is heart ❤️ warming, to say the least. When youre finished helping them pick out what they want, then nicely put all of it in a big brightly colored bag, then hand it to them....... ITS THE BEST!!! And when they look up at you and say Do I REALLY get to keep these clothes? And I get to say YES.....its a little taste of HEAVEN on earth. I have volunteered with this organization for over 12 years. I can honestly say, I NEVER get tired of helping children in need, or any children for that matter. They bring me JOY!!
