Day 5 of 7 of Thanks! I was fortunate to have an amazing mother in law, gone far too soon! She was one of the strongest, bravest, kindness and smartest women Ive ever known. She battled her lifelong illness like a champion, we shared a live of football and chick flicks, picked on Tom like crazy and we shared the same birthday! Miss her In ours lives but thank God I had the chance to develop our forever bond! My father In law, had him a few years longer but he also left us too soon! I miss our Monday date nights (without Tom) our crabbing adventures, (mostly without Tom) sharing a can of beer or a bottle of red, the unexpected gifts he would OFTEN leave for me on my front porch, (shallow I know but who doesnt love to be pampered?)and his amazing insights on life and relationships! I have been known to say that I married Tom because of how handsome his father was as he progressed in age. (That was a joke, kind of) They were both teachers so I will stay on that theme.. Thankful for my former teachers and coaches, my role models and mentors, many of whom are still in my life today and will and have taught stefanie! How cool is that? Some have passed away but I will never forget the influence theyve had on who I am personally and professionally !
