Day 6 Today and everyday I am thankful that I have two of the best grandparents in the world. Not many would help support a single mother and help raise her child while she worked two jobs. I was blessed enough to have a wonderful poppy and beautiful granny who showed me nearly everything a girl needs to know. My granny taught me how to cook. Im no where near her ability but Im working on it daily. She taught me how to sew, quilt, upholster, DIY anything, paint walls correctly (I didnt know I was doing it wrong, but it was corrected. Lol), showed me that I could do anything I set my mind to, and be a little bit mean if I need to. My poppy taught me so much in the almost 15 years we had together. He influenced my athletic ability, taught me how to fish, drive a boat, ride a four wheeler, drive a car, build stuff, and fix stuff. I personally think he was the nicest and most caring man I have ever met. No matter how much his grand kids drove him crazy, and even if his granddaughters went out on a day long four wheeler ride that continued late into the night, involving search parties led by him, he never got too aggravated with us. Today and always I am thankful to the two greatest influences in my life.
