Day 63: I woke up this morning with a blistering headache and found myself trapped under a large blanket. As I struggled to free myself a booming voice sounded off near my head and nearly caused my eardrums to burst. I though my head was going to explode, the voice grew even louder telling me to wake up. That is when I opened my eyes and realized I had been dreaming. Something about the dream was alarming, but I just couldnt put my finger on the cause. Perhaps it was because I was a bit tangled in the blanket that covered the bed and Cat was telling me to wake up. He patted me on the head lovingly and told me everything was going to be okay. Celeste and Gertrude had been by earlier and he gave them the phone number to call the Baltimore Coven. Perhaps with their help, something could be done about the spell. Our boss and friend, Barry, had also sent a private message to the “Others” in the local community. Basically he asked for further help in our situation and several creatures had already responded to his request, while many others waited to assist. I had no clue as to how many creatures actually wanted to help us, until Cat lifted me up to the window to see the line of “Others” waiting below to enter the pub. I dont know what they were doing to help or if they even could, but it brought a tear to my eye. Sometimes you can go through life thinking you are not noticed until you get into trouble, or no one really cares. Today I felt a bit differently and the show of support started to lift my spirits. However when I started thinking about our situation I realized I was smaller than the day before. I was almost the exact size of Cat, before he started to grow. Will we stop when we reach each others original size? Who knows. Quite frankly I dont want to find out. I want us to be the way we used to be, but perhaps now with a better understanding on how the other one feels and acts. I think Cat and I will grow closer together and be able to accomplish anything, so long as we find a cure. Before Cat placed me back on the bed, he snuggled me and asked me if I wanted some tuna. Against my better judgment I agreed and he went to retrieve me a tuna sandwich from the kitchen. While he was gone, I heard a strange noise coming from our closet. Using the blanket as a makeshift rope, I climbed down to the floor and made my way to the closet . The door was conveniently left ajar. Before I had a chance to investigate, a large goo covered hand reached through the opening and grabbed me! Dont worry, I didnt die. If I did perish, I wouldnt be retelling this story. To Be Continued...
