Day 9 of the flu. I am just barely starting to feel human again. Managed to clean up the messy kitchen, took my first shower in 4 days, and dragged myself to the store down the street to pick up a few overpriced groceries. I stumbled around in the store, kept forgetting what I came for. Nothing looked good, and then everything looked good. Still have no energy to cook, but I bought stuff to make homemade chicken soup tomorrow. About a week too late but, hey, whos counting? Bought some canned soup to get through today and discovered that it tastes much worse than I remember. Infirmity really makes you appreciate everything, and right now I am happy to have a clean body and a full tummy. Gonna call it an early night and maybe by tomorrow Ill feel at least half human.
