Day Thirty: A Psalm a Day Keeps the Devil Away--Psalm 120 Did you ever wish you could freeze frame a moment in your day, look at it and say this is not my life? (quote from Mrs. Doubtfire). This was the feeling of the psalmist. He was surrounded by messed up people in a messed up place. However, he took his troubles to the Lord in prayer realizing God is the only one who can help. He put his trust in God and looked forward to spending time in the Lords presence. I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer (v.1-spoken while traveling to the holy temple in Jerusalem). Today, spend time pouring your heart out to the Lord, bringing Him your troubles as you look forward to spending time with Gods people, centered around Gods Word tomorrow morning at church.
