Day Whatever it is....we have docked at Strasburg. Bill had a really bad night with his cough, so we headed to a nearby German Hospital. The concierge from the ship went with us in case we had translation problems with administration. It all went well. Doctor spoke very good English. Bill was examined, had blood work done, a chest x-ray, and several prescriptions. It all came to a total of 126 Euros. He has bronchial pneumonia. They wanted to keep him for 2 days and administer to it by IV. Of course the ship leaves tonight and heads for Switzerland, so we would have had to pack everything out of our stateroom, then fly home on Monday from Strasburg. Bill convinced the doctor to treat with antibiotics by pill and that he would go to the doctor for another chest x-ray as zoos as we get home. I do NOT want to be a merry widow and have promised to track him down if he dies and make him miserable for the rest of eternity!!
