Day X of the monsoon season. No riding horse or bike. No tennis, gardening, or even mowing. Facing more rain tomorrow and in the am even the welcome distraction of Wimbledon will end. The only excitement left to me is running up and down the steps to see if water is coming into the basement. Today I am shame wracked to admit I took solace in a dark and awful deed. Yes, I went recreationally shopping.
