Day four : Im thankful for my seizures. I am SO grateful that my seizures are pretty well controlled. I keep reading about people who are on a ton of medication daily, or have had brain surgery and they are still having many seizures each day. So yeah, I am very thankful. I am thankful for all the positivity that I am able to find each day, and always trying to remember that happiness is a choice, thanks to my seizures I am closer to God. Waking up in the hospital was shocking and really confusing to say the least. I knew what a seizure was but didn’t understand why I had one. I used to dread doctors visits, I used to cry bc I was scared. But my faith helped me over come the biggest obstacle in my life. For a while I was embarrassed that I has seizures, but it knew eventually I had to accept the fact that I had them. Although the odds are in my favor, I won’t know whether or not I am completely seizure free for a while. Whether or not I am seizure free, I am thankful every day for my amazing family and friends who love and support me through thick and thin. I am thankful for my seizures, the helped me become a stronger young lady. 🙏💜
