Day of the Operation Spicer investigation has turned up some revelations. Andrew Cornwell has admitted in effect to taking a bribe via a painting. He has also claimed that Lord Mayor Jeff McCloy gave him $10k in the back of McCloys Bentley. He then passed it on to the Liberal Party despite having grave reservations about the legality of the brown paper bag. Mr Cornwell then consulted his parents, both former solicitors (his father had been struck off) and was told the donation was legitimate. Brien Cornwell was a highlight in NBN news last night as having been involved in 2 development projects that both collapsed, causing a substantial loss of money for investors. Mr Cornwell claimed that all people had been paid their monies yet those people claim to have not received any money, with one investor claiming to be owed $250k.
