Day one being back home from a week-long stay in the colonia of PM and I am one sad lady. Such an amazing place with amazing people in it. We stayed at Villa XaAn (xa-an) on Calle Trasatlantico and cant say enough about the incredible hospitality and service we received from owner, Rick Fernandez. Pilar and Fernando of Puerto Morelos Green Bikes were also a great help to rent bikes from. Abraham (I dont have his last name or shop name as my friends arranged things with him), who runs a souvenir shop on the square next to Casa Martin, also helps run a snorkeling/fishing excursion boat and gave us the BEST snorkeling tour with his co-worker, Ignacio (Nacho). Our taxi driver, Nelson Alvarez Pablo (9988102843), gave us prompt service with a smile all week and dealt very well with our very broken Spanish -- he didnt speak much English, but it was fun for us to practice Spanish and everything worked out great! My friends and I all adore this town and the people in it!
