Day one, check. Accidentally muted the GPS at some point so we drove an extra 80 miles. Oh well. I also forgot to bring my personal PB&J so we made a quick trip to Safeway in Alliance then picnicked at the park. Evans Plunge was fun. I actually went down the slides. Mineral water is much better than pool water. We had supper at Woolleys, then hit the tourist strip nearby for ice cream at Guss Best. Pretty waterfall on the strip. We did some hiking, troglodyting and architecture appreciation while we were at it. Left my camera in the hotel room, so I will do better tomorrow.
