Day two almost done... and thanks to some great visitors it went by pretty quickly. Shes resting pretty peacefully, but still very nauseated. I am just glad that shes better than yesterday. I shared the elevator earlier tonight with a man younger than me who is here for his 5 yr old son. The boys name is Jason, and he has leukemia, and has just been diagnosed with a second form of cancer... I dont remember the first word, but its a sarcoma and it is very rare. I promised him prayer, and would appreciate it if you will join me. Ive lamented having a 16 year old with cancer... He is fighting to see his son turn six, much less sixteen. Oh Lord help me to remember that life is only a vapor... here today and gone tomorrow. One more day and we believe we are done with the hospital... but who knows what tomorrow may truly bring? Jesus could return tonight to catch His bride away... I just want to be ready so I can hear Him say Well done. Thats what this world is about. Its preparation for eternity... nothing less, nothing more. I have no intention of missing Heaven for any small pleasure this world has to offer. Espcially not for self-indulgence or self-pity. We are so blessed.
