Day two and three of the B&W photo challenge come from the McClellan-Sweat House which is part of the Portland Museum of Art. All Rights Reserved Constructed in 1800-1801 for Major Hugh McLellan, the brick mansion was designed by John Kimball, Sr. (1758-1831), an architect from Ipswich, Massachusetts. The McLellan-Sweat House is on the National Historic Landmarks list. You can visit the PMA website for more detailed information about its history.
