Day two at Santa Barbara began with liquid sunshine i.e. heavy,misty, almost rain, until about 10:00 a.m. By 11:00 am. ring calls for both dogs, clouds were gone, sky was clear , another beautiful day in Santa Barbara!!! Blue show very well, stood for examination, gaited beautifully.When we went back in for Winners he tried to chase the bred by dog who won the point. I am so glad that Blue did all that was expected of him today!!! Mark showed Cooper beautifully but the judge like another dog better. Continued best wishes to all real life and Facebook Friends showing dogs this weekend!!! Had a late lunch at a lovely seafood restaurant on Sterns Wharf. Came back to hotel, spent time at the pool, had a nice visit with my sister. Before signing off, I must say that I am beyond impressed by La Quinta Santa Barbara. Susan and I had both booked two rooms at this hotel. However, when a one bedroom suite became available, we cancelled both rooms and opted for the suite. We did not know how small the one bedroom suite was when you add two OESs and a Siberian Husky Hotel completely booked so no way to get an additional room for Susan for tonight since Mark is now here. Here is what La Quinta Santa Barbara did for us: first they apologized for not being able to honor our request. Then then found another hotel for Susan. Then they comped -i.e. paid for the room for Susan in another hotel. How cool is that? Most definitely will stay at this hotel again!!!
