Day two at Twin Rivers was fantastic. Leo is just amazing! I had the best, most fabulous cross country ride on him today. Sadly we did have a drive-by at a narrow, but the rest of the course was perfect, and I think he is really starting to get the idea. We only had 16.8 time faults, and that was WITH a stop! The course was tough, and he just skipped around. I was worried about the triple brush in the water, and he just locked on and jumped it perfectly. So happy with him! He finished in 9th Jessica and Thunder rocked around a difficult prelim track. There were only two small changes to the track from last time, but it proved to be extremely difficult today. Jess rode smart and finished double clear and moved into 5th in Jr/Yr So pleased to see these two really coming along! Now on to show jumping! McKay had a lovely show jump round in open training. We did have a rail. But he jumped really well, and quite boldly Proud of how well he preformed in the arena. He had a bit of a tough warm up, but once he got in the ring, he stepped right up and had a great round. Now lets see if we can do the same out on cross country tomorrow. Kris and Phargo jumped double clean and moved into 11 in STA They were really jumping as a team today. Well done Kimberly had a rail, and moved into 14th. She and Calvin had a nice ride, but a little late getting the half halt before fence 3. But a nicely balanced and forward ride. Good job! Michelle and Jack had a beautiful show jump round today. Pretty much spot on! She too was double clean, and moved into 5th(t). Now lets keep it up on cross country! Daniel had a tad bit of trouble. A little underpowered to 4 which resulted in Zoni vetoing the jumping effort. Dan reproached nicely and then they skipped around the rest of the course. A rail in the triple and 1 on the clock. On to cross country We had lovely weather and the footing on cross country was lovely. Pretty great way to spend the day. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!
