Days 5 and 6 / Dni 5 i 6: The Polish plan to sack the main German thrust from the west and sacrifice the bulk of the Polish mechanized units to destroy most of the German armored units and slow the rate of the German advance is rendered obsolete by the route of many of the Polish divisions deployed to the boarder. Army Prussia that was to lead the counterattack, Polish Ramrod, are rushed into combat as of 5th Sept. instead of, as planned, 14th. Soon--to--happen, the Battle of Bzura (Kutno) is to prove that the Polish plan, Ramrod, could have been successful.
