Dead flowers for Charity ROLLING STONES: 100 Special Dead Flowers The Rolling Stones are releasing 100 unique copies of the 1971 song Dead Flowers. The seven-inch singles are part of the Secret 7-inch charity campaign, in which artists release singles in one-of-a-kind sleeves with the proceeds going to Nordoff Robbins, which provides music therapy and music services to handicapped and ill children. The Stones and six other artists - Peter Gabriel, Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Chemical Brothers, St. Vincent, The Underworld and The Maccabees -- are asking the public to interpret the tracks and design a sleeve in their own style for every seven-inch. 700 sleeves will then be exhibited in London before being sold for $75-dollars each. pyke
