Deanston continued there pursuit of the league title with an impressive 3-0 win away to Gartocharn fc. Faced with injuries, suspensions and holidays, the club were still able to field a team that proved to be competetitive. Deanstons back 5 held on however and not for the first time this season, and were rewarded when young james mckenna got his first goal for thge ston. the game then petered out somewhat, but at the final whistle the relief to have overcame this tricky tie was palpable among the players.
