Dear AK , You are still singing the very same soft Hindutwa tune for your party in Kerala that you have been singing since your Mathai Manjooran memorial speech in wake of the demolition of Babri Masjid by the RSS . Yes the Congress should not submit to the unreasonable communal demands of the IUML and the Christian church leaders .But to raise this indirectly as the sole reason for the erosion of Hindu votes for Congress in the state is factually wrong and tactically & strategically ill conceived. 1)The anti people policies of the UPA II govt in which you were a key player is the prime reason for the erosion of UDF votes in Kerala and Congress votes all over the country 2) No party in Kerala can hope to stop the rise of RSS backed BJP in the state by competing with it for Hindu votes , especially now after the RSS has gained a public legitimacy through such a huge electoral mandate exploiting the price rise & corruption issues gifted to it by your UPA govt.3 ) You are an all India leader and what you advice your party here will have a bearing on your partys revival strategy for rest of the country. Why did your party fail in MP , Rajasthan where there ws no minorities to appease ? And what role did you as an all India leader play in building an anti BJP coalition before the polls and in campaigning against BJP during the polls ? Or do you still see yourself as a moffusil Kerala leader of Congress ? There is a qualitatively new political and social situation in India after the rise of RSS to power in Delhi . If a leader like you with the most clean image in your party is advising your partymen in Kerala to play the role of a B team of BJP, it only means you still see the Left as the main force to be fought here .
