Dear All, I am sharing a youtube of my speech in protest against the massacre of the people on the Flotilla in 2009. The protest was in London on 31 May outside the Israeli Embassy. Both myself and Andy Lawson, sacrificed our spring bank holiday to carry the PCS National Banner at this demonstration. Andy telephoned me that morning, despite the fact that he was sick, and nagged me to come along as I was in possession of the banner. The Flotilla was supplying aid to the Palestinian people of Gaza. But unfortunately, this ship was stormed by Israeli Commandos. A number of passengers were shot, wounded and killed. These demonstrations are not enough to stop these atrocities. It is time that other nations exerted more pressure to prevent this violation of human rights of the Palestinian people! Yours in solidarity Austin Harney.
