Dear All, I would like to thanks to all those people who helped me during the entire process of contesting elections for the post of Councillor of School of International Studies at JNU under ABVP. With 174 votes secured, I lost narrowly by seven votes. This was the highest number of votes ABVP secured since 2006. While filing my nomination, I was reluctant. However, it was the support of my team-mates as well as friends from other organisations, who helped me get going. Foremost, I would like to thank my voters, who showed faith and confidence in my abilities to deliver on promises made. Then, I thank my teammates Sudhir, Jaggudan, Vijay and Priyadarshi Rathod. The last two, despite being youngest of us and least experienced, you both have worked extremely hard and so you must be proud of this achievement. Yes, its an achievement to bloom roses in an arid land! Arnab Chakrabarty has been my most loyal and truest of the true friend. Without you, I couldnt have advanced an inch. I would also like to thank Binit Lal our SIS coordinator for continual backup and support. Our chief campaign coordinator of this election Pankaj Srivastav and Sangathan Mantri Anand Srivastava deserve special credit. Abhinav Prakash needs special mention for all his intellectual support that helped me during various debates and discussions. आदित्य वर्धन मिश्रा, an extremely efficient activist set the right atmosphere in the campus by being colourfully active throughout the year.I would also like extend my gratitude to Mamta Tripathi, Prem Mishra, Ajit Jha, Vinay Kant, Sandip Kumar Singh, Alok Singh, Saksham Kakkar, Akshay Dongre, Abhishek Srivastava, and to all others whom i am unable to tag. Friends from other organisations played a key role during the entire process, including AISA, DSF, AISF and NSUI. But I would not like to make their name public in their own interest. Thank you to all those people, whom Ive forgotten because of my faint memory.
