Dear All, I would like you to share with me a comment that I had received from someone dear to me, regarding the issue of the word Allah that is being hotly discussed and debated by Malaysians from all walks of life. This issue on whether non-muslims are allowed to refer to God in their Malay language bible as Allah is a concoction, a made-up issue. Allahyarham Ahmad Deedat wrote a piece on how he discovered an annotation in an old bible version ( not sure which version it was) that God is called Elah by the ancient Christians, and so he used this to refute the Christians that Jesus Christ is God because Elah sounds pretty close to Allah. But if he were alive today and asked to comment about thsi issue, maybe hell say something like Let them use it because it will make them look stupid, we should tell them that Allah is not Jesus Christ so stop being Christians and become Muslims instead. One muslim scholar who is well and alive today which I truly respect is Sheikh Imran Hosein, and if he were asked to comment on this, Iam sure hell say, dont waste your time on this dog and pony show. I agree with Reza Aslan that the government is attempting to control how muslims think and treating them like kids to be constantly nannied, but since hes a scholar on Islam and not a believer in conspiracy theories, he would never say that this is just smoke and mirrors. It is embarassing issue but Iam not wasting my time on it, what these idiotic ministers are saying and using is political language. George Orwell says that, Political language...is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give a apearance of solidity to pure wind One more thing, all politicians are idiots because theyre only willing to discuss matters which they want discussed, and not on matters which ought to be discussed. So time and again theyll create sensationalism such as this to divert peoples attention from other sensational issues which need to be genuinely looked upon. One of it is that their economic models are crumbling. They always talk about growth when they should have focused on progress, but growth is not progress, thats just political language. Growth is measured in money terms but progress is measured in happiness. No politician in Malaysia will dare say that growth does not equal progress or argue against the obsession about growth. They dare not pull te rug underneath them. All of them are players in a pyramid shceme and theyre sitting pretty on top. Ask them what is money in our modern society and where does it come from? and see how many are willing to give a truthful answeer. If one of them manages to give a correct answer, then ask that politician,Why are you still in politics if you know about this fraud.
