Dear All, LAUNCHSHIP is seeking a highly skilled ASP.NET/VB.NET developer with a strong background in building Scalable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology Stack (MVC 3.0 or above). As a Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing web applications. This person will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build highly-performing enterprise system. A strong knowledge in Database system and design is also preferred. The following are the major responsibilities of the role. · Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. · Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle. · Ensuring code is properly commented and follows project coding standards · Performing complex product design, systems analysis and programming activities which will require research · Designing, implementing, and maintaining software in a team environment using Visual Studio 2010 and Team Foundation Server · Actively participating in product design and code review meetings; · Be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. · The successful candidate will have an extensive programming background, extremely strong .NET C#/VB.net skills, SQL Server, strong design skills, be highly motivated, display a strong work ethic, be well versed in designing and developing secure, flexible and very scalable web-based business software applications and have a passion for achieving things on the Web that have never before been achieved. AJAX/JQuery and javascript experience are helpful. Skills/Qualifications: · Analyzing Information , General Programming Skills, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements · Hands on development utilizing SQL 2008, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, classic ASP · Work in an Agile Environment · 4+ years of hands on experience in enterprise web development using in SQL 2008; C#, ASP.NET, Windows web services, XML and HTML. Ability to read and understand requirement statement and project plans. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong desire to learn. · Essential skills include: C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Database 2008 R2, Business Analysis, Report Services, Data Modeling, SharePoint Office 2010 and .Net.
