Dear America; Get your fricking priorities straight! Yes, this was perhaps a mistake, a very momentary oversight on behalf of perhaps the most powerful, busiest, most stressed man on the planet whose responsibilities and the pressures that come with them are light years beyond what most any of you could possibly even fathom. We here in Toronto, Canada, have a crack-smoking, gay-hating, late-night-partying-with-known-gangsters mayor, and he STILL had over 30% support going into the upcoming election (until he withdrew for health reasons). If a sophisticated population like that in Toronto can get behind our moronic mayor, surely you can look past a minor incident like an overly casual salute (a salute, by the way, that he is under NO obligation to return, by the way). Give your constantly negative, unsupportive, overly critical collective heads a shake. Try getting behind this guy a little bit, take a bloody chance, and see what good he can do, instead of nit-picking over an incredibly minor mistake, made significant only by so many of you following the fear and hate mongering lead of Faux (Fox) News.
