Dear Beloved, Please dont leave the house before You spend time with God. Because the days are evil; the devil roams about seeking whom he may devour [opens the door]; And we face death all the day long. Jesus said, The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10:10) Remember to arm Yourselves with the Word of God; Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles [strategies and tricks] of the devil. Work as unto the Lord: with joy and gladness. Seek peace and pursue it; And walk in love. This can only be mastered through humbleness and meekness of heart, and obedience unto God. (John 14:15, 21-24; 15:12, 14, 17) BLESS THE LORD, O My SOUL; And ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME: BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!!! SCRIPTURES FOR PERSONAL STUDY: *John Chapter 13 Jesus said, A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. (Jn. 13:34-35) *Romans Chapter 8 AS IT IS WRITTEN, FOR THY [Your] SAKE WE ARE KILLED ALL THE DAY LONG; WE ARE ACCOUNTED AS SHEEP FOR THE SLAUGHTER. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (see Romans 8:35-39) *Galatians Chapter 5 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. And they that are Christs have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (see Galatians 5:16-26) *Ephesians Chapter 5 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, REDEEMING THE TIME, BECAUSE THE DAYS ARE EVIL. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. (see Eph. 5:15-21) *Ephesians Chapter 6 Slaves, obey your masters; be eager to give them your very best. Serve them as you would Christ. Don’t work hard only when your master is watching and then shirk when he isnt looking; work hard and with gladness all the time, as though working for Christ, doing the will of God with all your hearts. REMEMBER, THE LORD WILL PAY You FOR EACH GOOD THING You DO, WHETHER You ARE SLAVE OR FREE. And you slave owners must treat your slaves right, just as I have told them to treat you. Dont keep threatening them; remember, you yourselves are slaves to Christ; you have the same Master they do, and he has no favorites. [see Eph. 6:5-9, Living Bible (TLB)] *Ephesians Chapter 6 PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, THAT Ye MAY BE ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL. (see Eph. 6:10-19) *1 Peter Chapter 5 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant [watchful]; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (see 1 Pet. 5:6-9) *1 Peter Chapter 3 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew [shun] evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it [But pursue, go after them!]. (see 1 Pet. 3:8-11) *1 Peter Chapter 3 And who [is] he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? BUT AND IF Ye SUFFER FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE, HAPPY [ARE Ye]: And Be Not Afraid of their terror, neither Be Troubled; BUT SANCTIFY THE LORD GOD IN YOUR HEARTS: AND [BE] READY ALWAYS TO [GIVE] AN ANSWER TO EVERY MAN THAT ASKETH You A REASON OF THE HOPE THAT IS IN You WITH MEEKNESS AND FEAR: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. (see 1 Pet. 3:13-16) JESUS IS LORD!!! Praise HIM!!!
