Dear Booster Parents/Guardians (particulary Fathers/Father Figures) – Our School Principal, Mr. David Empson, is inviting Fathers/Father-Figures to be a part of a new program, WATCH D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students) Program which as the attached letter states, “is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life.” Interested Fathers/Father-Figures, Grandfathers, Uncles are invited to a meeting at the school cafeteria where FREE pizza and drinks will be served before the meeting begins. All they ask for is to have you spend at least one hour or half day this year at the school and be a positive male role model as well as being an extra set of eyes and ears. We are hoping to have at least 10 Fathers/Father-Figures to represent the Band at this meeting; however, if we have more, that’s great. The more we have will show the commitment we have to our kids and to Warren High School. If you are interested, please send me an email at apena@ceoexpress or contact me at (210) 355-1449. When you come to the meeting next Wednesday, January 21, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m, please bring the attached letter with the bottom part completed.
