Dear Clients and Facebook friends, Please be aware that there are currently poisons left in the Luxembourg forests usually on isolated spots but dogs can easily reach those places. These forests are usually those closest to residential areas near towns. Its a poison that is used to decrease the fox (-and other wild animals) population near residential areas. Ive filled a bag full of bones from 3 different forests (Bridel, Kehlen and Bonnevoie) in order to remove what I could. Very little chance of being a coincidence. Unfortunately, this is dangerous for dogs, any other pets going outside on their own and humans, the symptoms are: liquefied blood inside the dog which makes him/ her have very liquid faeces with blood. If untreated by a vet the dog can die after 21 to 28 days due to excessively liquid internal organs. If treated before, it can be cured! One of my own dogs has just been saved. I’d advise you to keep extra attention on your dog if you walk in the forest and if he/she disappears for a while or you catch him/her eating something, ask advise to a veterinarian so he/she can tell you which symptoms to look for and if you see any, just don’t wait any longer to take an appointment urgently.
