Dear Coco Ho, I think your an incredible surfer a great role model for the youth. However, the comment you made was disappointing because your validating an already out of date system of unequal pay for women that everyone knows is wrong. At the same time its a privilege for you to say these things, a privilege our feminist foremothers fought for. The irony is that your able to speak your mind so freely because of those Feminist you think will kill you for saying it. Its an outdated paradigm from the 1950s. Please join our conversation about equality in surfing for women. It doesnt serve men or women to have unequal pay in the industry based on gender. Lets stop comparing apples to oranges and give women their rightful place that you all have worked so hard for.
