Dear Col. Potter Family and Friends: As many of you are aware, CP has published a calendar since 2000, started by our beloved Sister Bubbles (Carol Loeb RIP) and our president Danielle R. It is with great regret that we must announce that there will be no calendar for 2014. Due to circumstances beyond our control we, the Board, have had to make the difficult and very emotional choice to forgo publication for next year. We have no option to put the calendar for sales on our website (which is where our highest % of sales comes from) and we are unable to utilize Paypal until our new website is up and running. Since we have been without this service (our website) for most of 2013 we still have a huge number of our 2013 calendar sitting and gathering dust and we cannot afford to have this recur with 2014 sales. Our team has diligently worked to procure pictures of our adopted fosters and current fosters but much work is still needed here. If a photo is needed for one of your dogs, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED to send updated good photos to us, so we can compile the contents of 2015’s calendar. All the web issues and now the YAHOO issues have put a real damper on this running smoothly, and even though our team of volunteers has been working diligently, we have been put too far behind to even catch up. We apologize to all those who look forward to seeing their adopted babies and those who have gone to the Rainbow Bridge, but it is just not feasible to do it at this time. At the present time we are reworking the plan for 2015 and with luck we will produce a calendar that will cover 2 years worth of dogs. WE appreciate more than you know, all the wonderful photos you have sent in to us, but please keep in mind, if you do not submit a GOOD PICTURE (in focus, only dog in photo, etc.) of your foster or adopted CP Cairn, we cannot be expected to continue to follow-up to insure we get that photo. We will use the photo(s) we have or none at all if that photo is truly unacceptable. IF WE NEED A PHOTO from you, you will hear from us privately. It is a loss monetarily for CP, and we know many forever homes are going to be upset, but we promise to make the 2015 calendar worth the wait. We are very close to getting our NEW website kicked off (slowly at first) and once this happens, we will have the freedom to do all the things we have put on hold, including using Paypal again to our full advantage.
