Dear Concerned Members: Seems like folks have been busy today! Wow! A personal message is how I have choose in the past to try to respectively address concerns from feedback that I get regarding a post. You see I dont delete posts willy nilly and it is never my intent to ever be disrespectful. I have contacted many many people and explained why I have deleted their posts and even given folks a chance to change them if they what to keep them up. Unfortunately some have chosen to create issues. Based on todays feed back I l have decided that personal messages will no longer be a tool for me as they are miss interpreted and unfortunately miss quoted. For the record this was my message to Mr Parks: ***** Fred- your sermon type posts have been a concern for some members. They run long, and frankly at times seem judgmental. You are entitled to your views, however this page is primarily about Appalachia and its culture and peoples and posting strong religious messages tends to move the page off topic and causes friction within the members. I have been appointed to respectively ask you to do a little more reflection before you post, and try to stay on topic. There are many groups out there who have religious pages that would welcome these posts as that is their primary topic. Thank you for your understanding and support! ************ From now on, if there is a post that I get reports on I will be forced to delete it. A sad day indeed.
