Dear Coopers Rock Foundation Friends, 25 years ago (May 2nd to be exact), the Coopers Rock Foundation was awarded their Certificate of Incorporation by the State of West Virginia. The original members of the Board at that time included Adam Polinski, Nora Schwab, Milton Cohen, Jim Kotcon, George Longnecker, Douglas Tanner, and Mary Wimmer. As the current President, I wanted to officially thank the founders for their vision and commitment to Coopers Rock and Snake Hill. So much great work has been accomplished over these past 25 years, and so many people have contributed to this success. The present version of the Foundation is inviting all past and present members of the Foundation Board to a special reunion evening event up at the forest this Friday, June 6th at the WVU Westvaco building at 6:00pm. We hope you can make it! The event is also of course, a fundraiser with door prizes, chance auction items, and buffet style dinner by Black Bear Burritos. After dinner the REAL fun begins! With the help of Dee Fulton we found a wonderful string band; Fern Cliff Collective to dance the night away with! The tickets are selling on our website(see below) for $25 each.
