Dear Everyone, Ive been really fortunate this summer, most importantly because Pam and I are finally preparing to welcome a third member to our family at the end of the year, but also because that coincides with a huge last opportunity to direct two central New York premiere musicals, just as Im preparing to retire from it for awhile to focus on our soon new family member. The first of those two opens this Friday, and it is an extra special production: it is a show never performed before locally, one that I loved so much on Broadway I saw it multiple times, and where I have had the chance to work with a bit of an all-star cast and crew, many of the very best our local performing artists have to offer from leads to ensemble to staff and crew. It would mean a lot to me if I could somehow have just one more thing from the universe: legions of friends, family, and strangers to come see it each night and let us make you laugh, feel, and think.
