Dear FB Friends, Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon (from God we came and to God we return). I am writing to relay the sad news of the passing of our dear uncle, Syed Khalique Qadry, who was the father of my beloved friends Reema Qadry and Nada Qadry, and the father in law of my brother Fouzi Husaini, earlier today after dhuhr. Uncle was diagnosed earlier this year with Stage 4 lung cancer and eventually succumbed to his illness and returned to his Lord. On behalf of the family, I ask all of you to please sincerely make duah for uncle (and if possible to read Yasin or any portion of the Quran) and ask that Allah (swt) forgives him, grants him ease in the questioning, and grants him janatal ferdos in sha Allah. Please also make duah for the family and loved ones he leaves behind and ask that Allah (swt) gives them all patience and strength during this difficult time. I also personally request that anyone reading this post please like it so that the family is comforted by the number of thoughtful souls out there who are making duah for their father.
