Dear FB friends, those who have met me (in real-life) will probably know me as an open and very fair-minded person, who is driven by logic and what is right. Those who only know me online from forums or on here, have probably also gathered these overriding character traits. I make no excuses for them, as they are very close to my heart and are part of my very essence - I will say and do what I strongly believe to be true and absolutely correct. What I type (on this wall) are my own thoughts, opinions and observations; some of which is (hopefully) of amusement, some is intended merely to spread the word, or engage with you. Nothing should be taken personally, or with offence. My views on the referendum are clear, so clear Id hope that even Alistair Darling himself would cease to ask me what they are. I have articulated them (some with eloquence, sometimes with humour at my incredulity of the NO campaigns latest gaffe). I dont mind anyone questioning my view (in fact, the opposite is true - I welcome the chance to put my well-considered case forward), but equally, I would also like to think people will vote because they have opened their minds and ears to what has been said and debunked. Rather than base their vote because they support a particular football team; or whatever happened in Ireland a few centuries ago - we as a nation are better than that, and we deserve a country with a positive future, rather than one which is still living in the shadows of the past, looking for division, rather than unity. If life is treating you and yours well at the moment, congratulate yourself, as you are one of the few - many, many cannot count themselves so fortunate. It might be worth remembering that those in dire straits seldom chose their fate, and what happened to them, could happen to you.(the future IS uncertain, after all). If anything I post so offends and youd rather not engage in a conversation, then either unfollow or unfriend - but that course of action says more about you, than me.
