Dear Facebook Friends, Cory Scurry, a young man from my community and the nephew of my very good friend Janice Welch, has lost his life to suicide. He was only 21 years old and sadly did not reach out for help before making a fatal decision. I am posting this with the families blessing to try to bring awareness that suicide can happen and is very real. When life feels overwhelming, reach out to someone, anyone. Suicide is not the answer. While dealing with the tragic loss of their son, the Scurry family is in need of community support to aid in the cost of Corys Funeral. Please make a kind donation to the Scurry family.
