Dear Facebook family, My family and I are asking for your prayers. We received a notice in the mail the other day saying that our home is being sold at auction on December 9. We are up to date on all payments and have not broken the lease in any way. We didnt have the money to move, and were worried about Christmas for children. Then yesterday, my husband comes home in the middle of the day and said that he was fired. The only reason given was that they have decided to make some changes. My husband is the most loyal, hard-working, dedicated and trustworthy employee anyone could ever hire. He was helicopter crew chief in the Air Force for 10 years, and a veteran of the Gulf War. He was foreman on the job at Universal sprinklers landscape and irrigation for 10 years. And he has spent the last 12 years as maintenance supervisor at some of the most well-known properties in middle Tennessee. He goes in early, works late, works weekends and holidays and even on our anniversary. He is distraught because he gave his best and thought he had job security. In fact, he was promised this just a couple weeks ago. Thats why this is all such a big shock to him. He had a heart attack a couple of years ago, and the doctor said that he needs to be careful because he has two other places that need to be watched. Im concerned about his stress level.
