Dear Facebook friends and family, I say this with the hope that you will have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. The peace of God always seems to fall upon the earth this time of year, and a lot of the varying beliefs of its inhabitants seem to fall by the wayside as this joy fills our hearts. It is really strange to me the many things that people choose to believe or not to believe, many times overlooking reality while in search of some lost or hidden dream to fill their emptiness. For example, many scientists today are led by delusions based on personal fantasies rather than being led by truth and reality. In fact, recently the European Space agency spent $1.2 billion dollars and 10 years to land an unmanned probe, (Rosetta/Philae), on a comet in order to prove their theory that life on Earth was seeded by comets billions of years ago. 10 years and $1.2 billion dollars later, they successfully accomplished the landing, an amazing feat, only to find out that the elements they were looking for were not really there. How often have we looked for something far far away only to find that what we were looking for was already right here with us all along? The answer to their question has already been answered, to those willing to receive the truth, in the gospel of John Chapter 1 - ”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” Christmas season is here, and even those who normally arent open to hearing the truth about God and creation are moved each year by the joy and peace that falls on the earth, because the Spirit of Truth has grown strong in the hearts of those who believe, testifying to what is told in the book of John verse 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.“ This Christmas season it is my prayer that the Spirit of Christ, the giver of all life, would invade your hearts with the joy and peace that only He can give. God bless you all. Amen.
