Dear Family & Friends, This is Alan, Paisleys - TopicsExpress

Dear Family & Friends, This is Alan, Paisleys step-grandfather: Many of you have asked about funeral arrangements for Paisley. Our sweet baby girl is still in New York at the Medical Examiners office. She had a full autopsy yesterday and it will take two weeks to finalize. Once this is complete, a New York funeral home will embalm her, place her in a casket and fly her precious little body back to her Georgia home. Once she returns, she will be taken to Memorial Park Funeral Home in Gainesville, where she will be cremated. Her ashes will be placed and sealed in a beautiful Mother of Pearl urn. A small portion of her cremains will be put into a special golden heart necklace that Madison will wear as a way to keep Paisley always close to her heart. In the meantime, all of the immediate family is working on a memorial garden at Wes and Madisons, where Paisley spent seventeen days as our angel visitant. Once we have her ashes, those of us who worked in her garden will hold a private memorial service where we will remember her holy life. Many of you have asked how you might help. Your uplifting posts of love, support and testimony have brought strength through this painful journey. And we ask that you continue these encouraging words and prayers. Also, there are many expenses that Wes and Madison face as a result of their travel to Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital. To get Paisley home, two funeral homes will be required, one in New York, the other in Georgia. These funeral home charges and the costs for transporting her body are significant. We ask that contributions continue to be made to gofundme/prayforpaisley. Thanks to each of you who have followed Paisleys journey thus far. We will forever remember and love our little Paisley Jayne Grissom. legacy/obituaries/gainesvilletimes/obituary.aspx?n=paisley-jayne-grissom&pid=172474615&fhid=3390
