Dear Family, Life has thrown me an amazing opportunity and I wanted to share the excitement with you first. I am so excited to be launching a National Radio Show for Cumulus Radio in Nashville Tennessee starting Jan. 6th 2014. The decision to leave Los Angeles did not come easy and I would be lying if I told you I wasn’t nervous. After weeks of soul searching and a lot of prayers I felt like this incredible journey must begin. I structured my new deal so that I would be able to be connected to So. Calif. and stay on the air at GoCountry, but they have chosen not to air my new show. I wanted to take a moment and thank the Levine family for an incredible last 7 years. We built a great Country station in L.A. when KZLA left a void, and it is an experience I will never forget. I have been blessed enough to have spent my whole career on the air in L.A. and Orange County and for the last 25 years YOU have given me so much. I really want you to join me on the incredible adventure and will fill you in with all the details on how we can make that happen soon. There are so many things that fell into place that helped make my decision easier. My kids are grown and fired up, I have the support of my family and friends as well. So as I sit here writing this with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, just know that you are so important to me in every way and I will definitely miss being here for you each and every day. Thank you so much for ALL of your support over the years. I will NOT be off the air for long in Los Angeles and look forward to the opportunity when we will meet again. I hope you can feel the love in my heart as I write this and I also hope I have your prayers and support as I jump with both feet into this VERY exciting journey.
